Poem - Daddy's Little Game

I walked home from school today,
My daddy waited there.
I walked in and said hello,
But all he did was stare..

He asked me when I passed by
"What did you do today?"
"The usual," I said to him,
"things in the second grade."

"Put your books away," He said.
"You want to have some fun?"
Daddy never had the time
To play games with his son.

"This is a very secret game
that we’re going to play.
But you cannot tell anyone,
so just do what I say."

I nod my head and follow him,
Through the bedroom door,
He took my shirt off carefully,
and put it on the floor.

He then took off my socks and pants,
and then my underwear..
He touched me in a place
that mommy said was private there..

I cried, asking him to stop,
He said he’ll be done soon.
I would have the pain soon stop,
`Cause mommy comes home at noon.

He finishes and leaves the room,
I then put on my clothes.
The pain was hurting very bad..
Down, from head to toes..

I walk on out from the bedroom.
Mommy’s in the hall.
She asked me if something’s wrong,
"No," I said, "Not at all."

The day goes on like usual
with daddy looking at me.
Mommy asked me once again,
I said there’s nothing to see.

The following day after school,
Daddy waited for me.
He said "Let’s play the game again."
Again, he just hurt me.

When mommy gets home from work,
She plays a lot with me.
She noticed that something was wrong,
When marks on me were seen.

She looked at daddy, then at me.
"What happened here today?"
I had to answer honestly,
"Me and Daddy played a game."

"What kind of game?" She said to me,
I then began to cry.
She took off my pants and saw a mark.
Right on my inner thigh..

She asked me who did that to me,
I told her "Daddy did."
She walked away and out of the room,
To protect her little kid.

When the sky was dark, I was in bed,
I saw lights outside.
I looked out of the window,
There was Daddy with two other guys.

The other two had badges on,
And carried him away.
I never understood it,
Mommy said "Don’t be afraid."

But ever since that very night,
Nothing’s been the same.
I never played it anymore,
Daddy’s little game..
